Most current 'AI' products are just wrappers. True agency requires a model that can use tools, navigate websites, and handle errors autonomously. In my work on products like Hostly, I've seen that the biggest hurdle isn't the model's intelligence — it's the model's reliability.

Human-in-the-Loop

Complete autonomy is a myth for most high-value tasks today. The sweet spot is a 'Delegated Authority' model, where the AI prepares the work and the human provides the final '0.1%' of validation. This builds the trust necessary for long-term adoption while leveraging the 100x efficiency gains of the agent.
